Print Farm Lab is run by a small 3D print shop in Nebraska. We print and sell products every day on our own farm of printers, and this site is where we share what we learn along the way.
What we do
We design, print and sell 3D-printed products through our Etsy shop and our online store. That means our printers run long hours on real orders, not just test prints. When we write about a printer, a filament or an accessory, it’s because we’ve run it in the shop.
What’s on our farm
- 2 × Bambu Lab P2S with AMS
- 3 × Snapmaker U1 toolchangers
- 1 × Creator 5 Pro
- All running 0.4 mm nozzles
- Materials we print most: PLA, PLA+, PLA 2.0, PETG and PETG-CF
What you’ll find here
- Reviews of printers, filament and gear, based on how they hold up in a working shop
- Guides to running a small print farm: setup, materials, workflow and troubleshooting
- The business side: pricing your prints, selling on Etsy and Shopify, and keeping costs down
How we test and write
We only write about gear we’ve used, and we tell you when something is based on the manufacturer’s specs rather than our own testing. When we haven’t measured something ourselves, we link to the source. We’d rather say “we don’t know yet” than make up a number.
How the site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That never decides what we recommend. You can read more in our Affiliate Disclosure.
