Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information Print Farm Lab (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit printfarmlab.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Print Farm Lab is run by a small 3D print shop in Nebraska, USA. Our website address is https://printfarmlab.com. You can reach us through our contact page.

Information we collect

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves. It counts page views and collects general information like the page you visited, the referring website, your browser type, device type and country. Umami doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal information that identifies you. This data stays on our own server and is not shared with third parties.

Contact form

When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you enter. We use it only to reply to you. Messages are stored on our website so we don’t lose them, and we delete them when they’re no longer needed.

Comments

If comments are open on a post and you leave one, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

The site itself doesn’t use tracking cookies. WordPress may set cookies if you leave a comment (to remember your name and email) or if you log in. These are functional cookies, not advertising cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts may include embedded content, like videos or images, from other websites. Embedded content behaves the same way as if you’d visited that website, and it may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with it.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer (for example, Amazon) may set a cookie in your browser to track that the sale came from our site. That cookie is set and controlled by the retailer and is governed by their privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Advertising

We don’t currently show ads. If we add advertising in the future, we’ll update this policy to explain what the ad partners collect and how you can opt out.

How long we keep your data

Analytics data is kept in aggregate form. Contact form messages are kept only as long as we need them to respond and follow up. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely, so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

Who we share your data with

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it with anyone, except where needed to run the site (for example, our hosting provider) or where required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. This doesn’t include data we’re required to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons. Send your request through our contact page.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
